World Population Outlook 2024

I created an infographic to provide a clear and engaging overview of the 'World Population Outlook' for 2024. The data visualizes key statistics related to global population trends, including the top 10 most populated countries, the largest cities by population, and global wealth distribution. The infographic also highlights important demographic patterns such as urban versus rural populations, gender ratios, and growth rates.

The aim of this design was to convey complex information in a simple, visually appealing format, allowing users to quickly grasp significant data points.

To create this infographic, I utilized the following tools:
MS Excel, Tableau, Datawrapper and Adobe Photoshop

For this project, I began by thoroughly researching global population data for 2024. After gathering all the necessary information, I organized the data in Excel, which allowed me to analyze and structure it effectively.

Next, I moved on to Photoshop, where I planned the overall layout of the infographic. I considered the chart types and color schemes for each data section to ensure the visual flow was cohesive and easy to follow.

Once the design concept was clear, I used Tableau and Datawrapper to create customized charts that best represented the data in an engaging way. I experimented with different shapes and formats to ensure clarity and impact. Afterward, I copied the charts into Photoshop, resized them, and arranged them in a compact, visually appealing way to fit the infographic.

This process helped me create a clear, informative, and aesthetically pleasing representation of the World Population Outlook for 2024, combining data analysis, visualization tools, and design skills to deliver an impactful result.
