My project for course: Dreamy Watercolor Landscapes: Paint with Light

I wanted to use one of my own photos as a reference for this project and I found beautiful photo I took in 2014 at Garvins Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was captivated by the footbrige in the photo and wanted to incorporate it into my project in conjuction with the light filtering through the trees.

I deviated frrom my original sketch and moved the footbridge to the left and decided not to have as many trees. I may revisit my orignial sketch. I got so excited once I began painting and forgot to take photos of paper preperation and underpaintings. I see the importance now of a daily writte journal for future project and to note failures and successes. I am looking forward to comments and suggestions.
