Here’s an illustration that I did for Mike Rashid, a weightlifter, boxer, and podcaster. This illustration was done entirely in Adobe Illustrator. I started out by creating the basic shape. Then I added details based on reference images that I collected. The client said that there were still a lot of empty space surrounding the graphic.... so I decided to add these circular ray patterns behind the image. I definitely like it better this way. This image is going to be used as a background image for his new podcast, Civil Mind Savage Body. We decided that the illustration would look better on a papyrus type of background.
