It took me a long time to get to complete the final project. I didn´t want it to be a mere copying exercise, so I investigated the meaning and writing of all the characters and practised them one by one for days. The composition when you have one paper size and one brush size has been a project on its own. I find I appreciate even more the patience and grace of Chinese calligraphers after struggling with strokes positioning, thickness, overall balance in each singular character and then together again with the rest. Although the result is not very appealing, I can see the progress since the first attempts and this makes me strive to improve and gives me some faith that perhaps some day I can enjoy both the process and the result. The ironing did not make all the creases disappear but improved the overall appearance. Very thankful to the teacher @thomaslam for everything I learned in his lessons. If he makes another course, I will be glad to join. If he does not, I still have many things to practice and improve from the present one.
