I loved to draw as a child I loved art that when I went to my junior school we had to draw a shoe and I did. I was asked to paint it and I did that and my teacher told me to study art. I loved to sing and draw, my teacher went to live in Africa and my life at home put a stop to it. When my children were born I would paint the windows in the bedrooms with their favourite characters everyone loved it. Sadly I had an abusive Marriage 14 years and I went to America. I did sketch there but not to often. I had many years in America and loved it even the snow. In fact fall and snow are my favourite times. But due to abuse I had to come back from a breakdown and I had a stroke when I was thirty two. I drew people in America I have always been creative. But now I can decide what I want to do and I read books and I do different art academies online that I enjoy and makes me happy again. I always love my drawings but then did art at collage level one then level two art and design. I am good but missed education because of abuse. So I started doing my artwork again and now I buy books and I always read them and do what I can. I am learning values especially darks and lights and I have been learning how to draw the perfect face with different techniques. The grid method is ok but not for me. I usually sketch and hold my drawing on a board in the air. I do this because i turn my sketching around as I draw. I have visions and will learn what I can about art anyway I can. So now my children are grown and I have some three time I draw and paint and I do watch portrait artist of the year. I even did landscape that L.S Lowery produced. Keeping to his type of brushstrokes. I did not do his sky I did my American blue sky not a British green and grey sky. I am not going to stop again because this is my time to do my thing. I have been watching you on Domestica for a while and I am ready to learn your method now. I am enjoying my life for me.
