Cristian Roux is a comics creator and illustrator based in regional Victoria. I am absolutely passionate about the craft of making comics and sequential art. I have a number of exciting collaborations in the works, and I was artist and writer on a chapter of 'The SuperAustralians', an anthology of new superhero stories set in Australia along with 23 other contributing artists and writers. My personal project currently in progress is an historical comic about, John Christie, a Melbourne based police detective working in the latter half of the nineteenth century. I cut my teeth in comics, writing and illustrating a revisionist superhero mythology set in an alternate future Australia, titled Falling Star. The stories drew inspiration from current events, social attitudes and the Melbourne city-scape.
