Willard Jansen

I started playing flute when I was 11 but switched to Oboe. Had private lessons and almost went to the conservatoire, but choose different. I was a TV Director for almost 30 years. During that time I learned music theory. composition and orchestration in my spare time (which was a lot, because I didn't accept every Directing opportunity). I wrote small cues for TV Shows I directed, in the nineties and early twenties, first on Logic, Later on Cubase. Now with my upcoming retirement from my current job (senior Software Developer) I want to get more into filmscoring. I still know a lot of people in the TV and Film business here in Holland, so who knows I might land an assignment :-). I'm not very hopeful about that. I am doing this for my personal satisfaction.
