Jason Kimble

Born in Colorado, Jason Kimble was raised in Wyoming, Go Pokes!
Living much of that childhood at 8000 feet, Comic books and Amazing High Adventure were his fast companions throughout childhood, seeding a loyal love for illustration and visual storytelling within its myriad of formats.
Jason found an interest in tattooing early on and at 19 years old began tattooing next door to his own airbrush studio, where they looked to be having more fun….he says with a grin “sometimes the grass is always greener comes to mind.”
31 years later he still tattoos professionally from his gallery and studio in Rochester, MN, The Wax Poet.
Jason has published a number of comics and books, most recently, Lakota and upcoming Fatal Photos, from Markosia Press in the UK, as well as done licensed work on properties such as Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Walking Dead.
