Sam Darbouli

I’m Sam. I actually studied law, but my career path led me toward hospitality and tourism fields that allowed me to connect with people and different cultures, which I really enjoy.
I’ve lived in Damascus, Beirut, and now Barcelona, and those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for history, art, and especially Arabic calligraphy.
Outside of work, I love cooking and hosting, it’s another way I express creativity and share my culture.
One of my favourite books is The Calligrapher’s Secret, because it beautifully ties together history, art, and identity, themes that really resonate with me.
