Erik Scarpolini

I was born in 1986, in Friuli Venezia Giulia (ITALY), and I attended both humanistic and technical studies.
Since my childhood, I have always been attracted to the artistic world, particularly the contemporary one. I started painting again after many years in which I had forgotten this passion.
In 2015 and 2016 I followed two printing courses at the Albicocco art printing house in Udine.
In 2016 and 2017 I decided to delve deeper into the representation of the human figure and color theory under the guidance of Master Paolo Klavora. Frequenting this environment led me to want to try classic techniques: charcoal, oil on canvas, watercolor and pastel. Since 2016 I have painted mainly in oils, however experimenting with different techniques from time to time.
I lfeel inspired by artists such as Sargent and Manet, but also Saville and Zec.
