Introduction
Hi Jono, thank you so much for presenting this course! I have been following your work for a while. When I saw this course, I decided to immediately go for it.
This course was amazing. It has taken my drawings from flat images to something that has depth and feeling.
Here is what I got up to. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Supplies
I used your grid system. I had access to a slightly larger sheet of paper (I used a 185gsm) so I adjusted the scale based on the number of blocks which gave me a size of 35mm x 35mm. The paper made a big difference! On my next one I will try the 300gsm. I also started using the Faber Castell 8B pencils (big upgrade from my previous pencils from the grocery store). I also started using the cotton wool, which gave a great effect.
Outline and reference
I used a bit of estimation with some of the outlining. The photo was quite dark in some places. I played around with contrast and brightness on my phone to try and search for any shadows and light which helped.

Hands, hands and more hands
Before this course I struggled drawing hands. I have never used the grid method, and this gave me a chance to face my fears (hair incoming). I tend to stay away from hands and hair as it just became a bit overwhelming.
This method and having a reference video helped a lot in getting a base to follow. I started following shadows and highlights which helped me to not get overwhelmed. Like you mentioned in the course - it's a conversation between shadows.

The back
The back was so satisfying to work on. From just a couple of light touches of cottonwool, the back starts to feel more alive. The subtle change in tones you had on your drawing showed in the final work.

Horns
The horns were by far my favourite item to work on. I did the right horn first and then the left. After doing that I found a better 'pattern' and texture. I had to go back to the right one and fix the highlights. The horn depth and texture is a very cool addition to the overall artwork.

Final Product
I struggled a lot with the hair. At one point it seemed like I was drawing medusa, but with small worms... Not a great look. I am still not very happy with the hair, so would appreciate any advice in this regard.
Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this project. It has inspired me to keep drawing and take risks. I have learned a lot about techniques, looking for highlights and shadows, tones and problem solving.
I am considering adding a couple of renoster voels (I think they are called ox peckers) on or around the horns.
Again, thank you for this course and all your guidance! I will continue following your amazing work and creativity.
