Mon projet du cours : Peignez des mondes imaginaires et naturels à la gouache

Having been an absolute fan of Cécile Berrubé's work for many years, I really enjoyed watching this course and doing this project!

I fell in love with gouache, which I'd never used before. I used old, cheap tubes and basic watercolour paper.

All my drafts were done on Ipad, as well as the research for the colours.

I then printed my draft so that I could transfer it onto my watercolour paper as I don't yet have a light table.

I then followed Cécile's advice for the painting and used a tiny bit of white acrylic for certain details that I couldn't bring out with gouache (the stripes on the carpet and the flowers) as well as coloured pencils.
