My project for course: Cut and Sew a Jacket from Start to Finish

I repeatedly thought about taking photos of it in progress, but I was so worried it wouldn't turn out well at the end that I raced through it to make it look like a jacket as soon as possible.
There are quite a few imperfections if you know where to look, but I am so pleased with how it looks overall. I'm having far too much fun telling people I made it myself when they compliment the jacket. I went for a gabardine fabric and tencel thread, as I wanted to avoid using polyester thread.
I really struggled with the bias tape, and I'm not sure if that was just a case of inexperience or whether some bias tape is easier to use than others? I'm also find the corners of my pocket flaps are curling up and wondered if that's why so many pockets flaps have bevelled corners?

Docent PlusJe moet heel blij zijn met het uiteindelijke project! De jas is ideaal! Mensen zullen in paniek raken als je ze vertelt dat je het zelf hebt gemaakt! Hoe cool! Gefeliciteerd!!!!
