initial sketch i ended up going with. i don't often draw full body characters or backgrounds so i wanted to challenge myself

as you can see the final piece ended up quite different from the sketch. the biggest change is switching from the black background. Since the rest of my colors were quite light and bright, using the black background was a bit too stark in contrast. also adding the 'frame'. I thought this was a bit more interesting than just having everything floating in the center.

Thank you so much for this course! I tried so many different things and the tip about using saturated cool tones in the skin shadows has changed my life forever :D
