Peggy Acker

I am a student of different forms of art. I come from a history of creators with sewing, crochet, knit, whittling wood, inventors, musicians, painters. Infatuated by crochet, knit, embroidery, rug punching, I’m a practitioner of painting in oil, acrylic, pastel and sculpture in water-based and oil-based of many years looking to expand my ability and creativity with fabric arts. Following where my spirit leads, I am most recently on the path of finding a way to create paintings & portraits using thread and fabric. I’m so excited to get started in this new-to-me artform!
