Sarah Gowers

Hello! My name is Sarah. I live in York, UK with my family and dog! I took up photography in 2010 when my life felt a little out of my control. I booked myself onto a photography course at night school, and loved it. I ended up doing 3 courses over the next 2 years - nothing fancy, just learning some basics. I then joined a local photography club to keep up my practice and spend time with other amateur photographers. It's fair to say that I found photography to be my therapy. In the last 5 or 6 years I've been in a very happy place, and as I'm ashamed to say that I've barely picked my beloved camera up in a long time. I constantly take shots on my phone though! I have a Nikon D7100 and a few favourite lenses. As for phone, that's a Samsung. I'd like to reignite my spark for photography, and get good at travel photography especially! I'm going to Rome in a few days and want to test my memory whilst I'm there !
