Stephanie Fawcett

I have been a Stay at Home Mom for six years and have enjoyed every second of it. As my kids get older I find myself looking forward to new challenges in life. I am highly motivated to start more productive experiences besides domestic life and demonstrate to my daughters that there is something more out in the world for everyone willing to make an impact.
Previously, I had the opportunity to work on a fast paced retail store, in which I thrived, starting as an associate then escalating the ladder to reach the Department Manager position, I developed an ability to work as a member of a high-functioning team. The fast paced nature of retail requires excellent organizational and executional skills. I have learned to be a resourceful problem solver creating solutions based on the analysis of sales and product reports, always focusing on excellent customer satisfaction and meeting productivity goals.
As a born and raised Colombian living in the United States I discovered that I have an advantage to reach and connect with a wider crowd. Also, my background allows me to think outside the box when analyzing professional and interpersonal situations.
Retail has always been a field I have been drawn to. An opportunity was recently presented to me and I could not resist it. Having a partner to start a clothing business was the chance I was waiting for to leap into a new challenge. The idea is to start local, offering unique items of clothing and accessories handmade in Colombia among others, presenting the product via friends and family to start building a network and eventually open a store front. I am conscious that having an online presence is a must nowadays. The Domestica E-commerce Program is perfect to fulfill my desire to learn new skills and put all my abilities to work once again.
