Hello, allow me to introduce myself,... I am new to the world of clay. I attended a Paperclay workshop in November 2022, and now I find myself just loving the creativity of clay, be it slab or wheel. I am truly a beginner and excited to learn many new techniques and absolutely love Sarah Pike’s designs and therefore was thrilled to be able to attend her online workshop on how to create a Textured Slab Mug. I acquired a pottery wheel, 50lbs of Laguna BMix 5 (with grog) and some 44lbs of Plainsman M340S, which I will use the Plainsman mostly for slab work as it is very dark and too messy to use on the wheel for a beginner like myself. I am excited to enter this world of clay and just have fun creating. I also find taking other creative courses offered by DOMESTIKA, allows me to further develop my craft.
