Manuela OSORIO Pineda

First thing I would like you to know about me: I do not believe in tags. I spent around 5 years studying Social Communication and Journalism, but my work experience ranges from waitressing and babysitting to the wide fields of communication, journalism, advertising and marketing. I have had my part on the creation of solid strategies for small and big businesses in India, Colombia and The United States, including ‘big sharks’ like Pepsi, the Guyana Amazon Warriors and The Ride of My Life. My job at EL TIEMPO CASA EDITORIAL (the largest editorial group of Colombia) also included digital marketing, and this path lead me to Viventa, where I started working as a Community Manager and Content Strategist in 2016 and as a Sales Agent in Europe during 2017, helping colombians abroad with different kinds of financial services in Colombia.

I also completed a Master in Creative Economy, Cultural Management and Development at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, and had the opportunity to move to the United Kingdom for an internship at the Instituto Cervantes London. In 2018, I was hired by the Instituto Cervantes London for a transitional position to support the planning and execution of the cultural events, dealing with the different parts involved: Direction, artists, contractors, Administrative and Marketing Team.

I am always looking for exciting opportunities to learn from the people that are changing the way companies used to be, dropping the barriers and thoughtless policies, seizing the ideas of fellows around the globe, working on collaborative projects and using different kinds of technologies.

I think the size of your passion determines the outcomes of your work, and I want to do great stuff that feels less like a ‘job’ and more like a life project. I’m interested in Social Business, Alternative Communication, International Relations, Cultural Exchange and Languages. I also love yoga, cooking and off the beat travel.
