Linda Woods

I am a retired art teacher, and I loved teaching art to children. My own work is varied, and I switch gears from time to time, with media including Photography (always), ceramics, oil painting, metalsmithing, and most recently, alcohol inks. Long ago, I loved painting in watercolors and taught it to children, of course. But i am now longing to delve more deeply, and, in fact resuscitate my long ago watercolor skills. In my retirement, my studio space is small. I am an avid gardener and live in the country surrounded by birds, horses, cows, and a vast multitude of insects that also fascinate me. I'm hoping to do a deep dive into painting my surroundings and local flora, fauna, wildlife, insects, and scenery with sensitivity and originality. But...there is much work to be done to get THERE! I look forward to this course!
