I like to see photography as a mechanism that enables the connection between different social and personal universes.

My photographic work began after making big car trips through Brazil, using photography as a pretext to meet people and communities along the road.

Using photography as my main midia, my objective is to discuss relevant themes about the present and the past of the Brazilian territory, stimulating the discussion about local culture and the processes of identity formation.

Using photography and cinema as a way to boost cultural empowerment, I have been carrying out education projects in the Amazon with riverside communities since 2016. In 2019 I started to work in the outskirts of São Paulo with a project destined to peripheral communities.
