Lissa De Guia

Hi! My name is Lissa, and I am a writer, intuitive healer and former musical theater singer and actress. I loved drawing as a child but let go of that activity for decades. When the coronavirus pandemic hit, I needed to do things that I enjoyed in order to lessen my anxiety. I discovered line drawing and watercolor painting. A few months into the pandemic, I actually held my first solo exhibit and sold more than half my works, which totally shocked and pleased me. Since then I have felt very unmotivated to draw or paint, because I am still afraid. But I noticed that when I draw with my children, I have so much fun, I feel so happy doing it that I forget the time. I am excited to take these courses, to learn new techniques and exercises so that I can joyfully create again.
