I reconnected with clay about five years ago. In college, I took a year of pottery and discovered slab building. When I recently took classes again, my instructor suggested I build stacking pieces for garden when I told her I didn't want to make dishes or vases, or the like for my home. So, that's what I've been making. And funny enough, I found myself making animal forms using pinch pots etc.
