Karin Steeg

Hello! I am Karin Steeg, a former banker and now a pensioner. I was born in Bonn in 1957 and lived the longest time of my life in the Seven-Mountains. In the meantime, due to my job, I moved to Düsseldorf and near Munich for a few years. But since I am retired, I live again in my homeland. Therefore, I often paint our beautiful Seven-Mountains, but also other landscapes and cities, still lifes, flowers and abstract paintings. I paint my whole life, sometimes more sometimes less. Earlier I drew mainly with lead pencil, then I embellished some pieces of furniture with peasant painting, until I then discovered the watercolor painting for me in 1995. There I remained. Sometimes I also experiment with other media.
