Description
Ilion Animation Studios is looking for a concept artist to design and create environments and props for our new high quality animated feature. As a concept artist, you will have the opportunity to participate on the creation of a new world.
Main responsibilities
• Looks for real world references and combines them to create new elements.
• Develops script and color design ideas.
• Designs detailed props, providing enough information to be modeled in 3D.
• Makes sure their drawings are accurate and clear, and adapting them as necessary during the production.
• Understands supervisor and Director’s feedback, adapting or redesigning drawings.
Qualifications
• Have excellent illustration skills
• Visualize perspective and 3D space
• Have a keen interest in design, architecture and animated features
• Ability to visually interpret other people’s ideas
• Be flexible and adapt to change when asked
• Fluent in English.
