José Carlos Frade Gallardo

My name is José Carlos Frade and I'm based in Madrid. Currently, I'm about to finish my Audiovisual Communication degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I consider myself as a creative and hardworking person and I am always ready to do my best. I love learning new things to improve my skills and to be able to express myself in an artistic way through different areas as photography, illustration, fashion or cinema.

To me, fashion is a new way of massive art since it's something that involves everyone. Fashion isn't just “who wore it better”, it goes further and let you express yourself and define who you are. I love playing with clothes as a form of speaking to other people through fashion. That's why my future project is to work as an art director and stylist because it allows me to create wonderful stories over images compound by powerful components from a white t-shirt to a Galliano gown. As Grace Coddintong said, “fashion isn’t just frocks. It’s how we do our houses, our gardens, it’s what we eat and drink”.
