Jan Riordan

I'm English, living in Carcassonne France for 18 years and have run a b&b in a village but am now retired living in the Bastide .. the old Ville on the other side of the river to the ancient Cite. I have a BA(Hons) in Humanities ... studying history of art, literature and the arts generally, and have taught art history to adults. I have always been creative, painting, photography, interior and furniture painting , designing and making clothes and knitwear and am now making colourful, fantasy jewelry. It's many years since I have had time to paint and would like to loosen up my style, particularly when I paint outside, but not traditional landscapes.
