Theresa Forrest

I am an artist, children's picture book writer/illustrator and a soap maker. I print my designs onto many items from my studio at home. I love working with both bright colours and a more neutral colour scheme. I love the contrast of light and dark against each other and I have a fondness of using black in my work which I think makes everything else pop. I have an attachment to pattern and line and love to draw anything which repeats this in an overall design.
I am passionate about living sustainably which lead me to creating my own hand made soap bar brand 'forest of violets' which is made purely of plant based materials.
