Hi, I'm Courtney or Dearest Q.

I'm a contemporary embroidery and textile artist. I love creating figurative pieces with a lot of texture and colour and I find inspiration in everything from the seasons to classic movies.

I love experimenting with new techniques like needle felting and punch needle but I always include my love of embroidery in all of my pieces. Embroidery is the fibre that holds Dearest Q together.

I look forward to passing on all of the techniques I've learned through years as a professional embroidery artist.
