This is a great course for someone who wants to really improve their understanding of color. Ale teaches a way to layer colors to make them really pop. He does make it look so easy, and for that reason, I like how I can watch the same video over and over again to help me learn. He is definitely an expert at making a portrait come alive.

Great course

I really enjoyed this course! Ale is a good teacher. He talks fast but with the help of subtitle and knowledge of Spanish I am able to follow the instructions with ease. I've been wanting to paint a portrait before but I always fail. But after subscribing to this course I was able to paint the best portrait ever!

Corso molto interessante!

This course significantly exceeded my expectations. I particularly appreciated the detailed information about inspiration, materials - for example the difference between brush capacity and types of paper, and the fact that Ale explained the thinking behind his choices and behind strokes and colours etc. Really lots of helpful little things. And he was friendly and practical and really clear. The only thing I would suggest going forward is feedback on forum posts. THANK YOU. It was GREAT!!

Alejandro is an amazing teacher. I really appreciated is way to teach his tecnique on portrait painting with watercolors. The two portraits made during the lessons are really interesting. The Rosa's one result has really impressed me, teching me a lot on the way to mix layers of different warm-cold dolors to achieve the final result. I'm really happy to follow this course, I learned a lot.

I really loved this course...am a real beginner with watercolours as a medium and Ale gives great demos and all the right tools to go forward and explore and enjoy the medium. Also a real pleasure to watch his process building shapes and luminosity in his own work. Wonderful!
