This course is very good, the explanations are quite clear, although it would need a little more dynamism. ¡Beautiful ilustrations botanicals!

I love her botanical artwork and wanted to study with her in person. This is the next best thing because she is clear and easy to follow along. As others have mentioned the photography is excellent, every step is visible.

It's a great course. I enjoyed the "back to basics" beginning especially the color mixing. Ms Trickey is clear, and the pacing is well-organized. Photography is excellent.

Excellent clearly stated information with good photography and lighting. Great for revision even if an experienced painter. JULIA TRICKEY is as always great at explaining what she is doing and makes it look so easy.

Julia Trickey teaches with an eye for detail, gives constructive feedback and helps you along with encouraging support! Great chance to delve into botanical art! I hope for more in the future!

Excellent. So much information was given here. The idea of creating a solid, detailed painting using only 3 colors was inspirational. There are few botanical illustration offerings and this one is exceptional. It is a step-by-step tutorial but you are encouraged to select a different subject using Julia's technique. A quality teacher and a valuable course.

Julia's class is comprehensive, and I was able to easily follow her instructions. I'm very new to watercoloring so I appreciated the basics, and my project actually looked close to my real grapefruit! It's probably the little tips here and there that have stuck with me the most.

An easy to follow course, full of good tips and well explained. The painting techniques were well demonstrated with the camera over Julia’s shoulder giving you a good insight into holding the brush, what to paint and when and how to apply the paint or use other materials. The style of presentation was refreshing and straightforward with a little humour. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
