This course is absolutely amazing, and it’s undeniably a privilege to learn from Katie Hafner. She takes us from the inception of an idea through thinking to writing, while also sharing the tricks of the trade. Perhaps most importantly, she’s a big inspiration to pick up writing (again). I cannot recommend it highly enough.

As a former journalist, I relate to so many things Katie says. I was a television reporter, but I was missing the written word, as the research and methods to structure the story she teaches us. Although I'm also doing a fiction and creative writing course in domestika, the non-fiction is definitely my thing. I recommend this course to anyone that desires to learn non-fiction, as mainly to journalism students and future non-fiction writers. Thank you, Katie.

Ainda não terminei o curso. Contudo, é muito didática a forma como ela apresenta os passos necessários para produzirmos um texto com conteúdo, qualidade e que gere interação com o leitor.

Curso incrível e envolvente, a professora é ótima. O único ponto falho é do exemplo ser focado em um assunto muito específico e pouco popular no meu país, o golfe, então essas partes ficaram um pouco desestimulantes, mas não atrapalha e nem desmerece o curso em nada. Se o exemplo fosse um assunto mais conhecido e interessante, seria perfeito.

Desde mi punto de vista es un curso muy curioso ya que ofrece herramientas de gestión y sistematización para escribir que a mí jamás se me hubiesen ocurrido. Es interesante conocer otros enfoques y formas de trabajar para tomar lo que cada una/o considere interesante.

Katie Hafner is a great teacher. She gives hints about journalistic writing techniques that are so helpful and applicable to all kinds of writing. I love the strategy she lays out, showing the role of each section and it's importance in the overall text especially the intriguing journalistic terms for the sections of text! From now on I will call the first sentences of my academic writing the 'lede' because I want to write texts that people actually want to read! Highly recommended course!
