Charlie's course is excellent for inspiring any emerging writer in this genre. I found some of his advice and techniques to be more than helpful. I gained new insights into some of my writing ideas and in particular, thinking more about my 'detective' main character. His explanation and demonstration of planning the timeline made perfect sense. He explained it very well, and it became clearer to me there is more than just placing dates and times on long line. I highly recommend this course.

This is the first time I've really understood the fundamentals of writing any kind of longer fiction. The tutor is excellent, and his examples really show you what you need to do. I am now working on my first detective story, and am enjoying the process.
