A wonderful introduction to pattern design using acrylic paint pen markers.

I enjoyed learning about different inspirational ideas as well as looking at the larger and smaller florals and the abstract. I am not usually an abstract artist but I found myself really enjoying the meditative properties of creating these patterns in my sketchbook!

I have loved and admired Polina's work for some time. It has been brilliant on this course to see how she achieves her amazing pieces and amazing to have a go myself at creating some work based on those techniques. It will be a long time before i reach her standard! But it's been really good fun to make a start on this, and I've loved it.

I loved this course by Polina. I have tried surface design with little success until this course. I am an illustrator, art teacher, and artist but I still have much to learn after a 40+ year career. I am ordering the Posca markers and I'm sure they will make a big difference in the success of my designs. And I love the way Polina simplifies the process for us.

I thought the course was fantastic, very clearly explained and the results are great - I never thought I would be able to do something like this.

This is one of the best art courses I’ve done. The steps are explained efficiently, practically and effectively. Many of the tips are relevant for any art endeavor. Ms. Oshu is generous with her knowledge and working process. I enjoyed it very much and will probably keep going back to the videos for direction and I inspiration.

I really enjoyed this course. I am a fairly experienced artist but going through some health issues. I needed something inspiring so was attracted to Ms. Oshu's colourful, small format botanical patterns. I enjoyed acrylic markers and gouache for a change and working with different colour combinations. It was both meditative and therapeutic. The presenter has a quiet calm presence and is very thorough and clear. A really fun experience. Thank you Polina!
