I really enjoyed time spend with James!
I like the way James draws. In that course I learned that drawing can be made with ease, as form of spending free time, totally stress free.

This course was interesting in the approach to color theory. I didn’t really enjoy it that much. I bought some cheaper acrylic pen because the Posca are so expensive and they really didn’t work well. I also have trouble visualizing which color to lay down first. But I do recommend if you have the right materials.

Excellent course. Can't wait to start on my first ever illustration with POSCA pens.

Great introduction to a great medium. Could use more information about tge kind of paper best for acrylic markers. Also, James is very unresponsive in the forums which really sucks. 3.5 stars

Great course. Really like the work of James, so I wanted to give this medium a try.
In my case, it helped me see that the medium is not for me.
Yes, you can get started with a starter set of acrylic pens.
But they are really expensive, color mixing does not seem to be a thing and I don't want to be limited by too few colors.
James is clearly using more colors than what you will find in a starter set for most of the course.
Don't want to discourage anyone. But cost is something to consider.
