This course was really nice. I really enjoyed seeing how Alan approaches his paintings and watching all the steps right through. It sort of put me at ease and gave me the confidence to try this method for myself. I recommend this course, especially if the idea of realistic portrait painting feels overwhelming.

mostly what i took from this course is a different method of palette and medium mixing that made it alot easier to work the oils into a realistic form :) also the validation of him saying it takes a long time to personalise to your own style was nice ease of the imaginary pressure

Excelente curso. Me ayudó un poco a decidir lanzarme como retratista.

Es un buen curso, hay varios tips que tomaré en cuenta para mis trabajos. Me gusta que empieza desde lo básico y se ajusta a personas con poca o nula experiencia en el tema.

This course is very good for beginner oil painters.Alan teaches everything step by step from canvas preparation, colour pallette ,painting in layers to finishing with glazing.He also includes marketing.

An excellent well structured course that uses oils in a leaner way. Using hatching marks to establish details and tone. I really enjoyed this course and I cant wait to get started on my own project.
