I was familiar with the basic tools of AI (shape builder, etc.) so I had an easy time following this course. I especially loved the part about composition and his rough sketches were very instructive insofar as how to position and compose an illustration for maximum impact. Pietari is clearly talented and learning from him was a positive experience.

I hope to employ these techniques in my work. Definitely recommend this course.

This course gives you a thorough insight into the complete illustration process. One should already have a good understanding of how Adobe Illustrator works which should come without saying as it is already mentioned in the description. I gained more of a perspective than a skill, which was exactly what I expected out of this course. Our instructor is clear with each step and process and makes sure the student gets it easily.
