Samenvatting
“I make a brief review of the history of the pictograms, showing some references that I consider fundamental. Today we associate very specific shapes (constructed from basic geometric shapes, very synthetic, etc.) to the pictograms. This is the product of a series of specific events, some of which we will see in this review. * The Japanese designer of the Tokyo'64 pictograms is Masaro Katsumi.”
