Christina Roth

Meine Name ist Christina Roth und ich bin Ledergalanteriewarenerzeugerin. Ich bin im Süden Österreichs in sehr ländlichen Gebieten aufgewachsen und habe daher seit meiner Kindheit einen starken Bezug zu Naturmaterialien und Nachhaltigkeit. Ich bin aber auch schon sehr früh weit gereist und liebe daher Sprachen und den internationalen Austausch. In unserer Werkstatt, in der ich zur Zeit den einzigen Lehrling Österreichs ausbilde, machen wir mit der traditionellen Sattlernaht Maßanfertigungen und restaurieren bzw. reparieren wertvolle Stücke. Durch Privattrainings mit Menschen aus aller Welt habe ich meine Leidenschaft entdeckt mein Wissen weiterzugeben.

Hi, my name is Christina Roth and i am a fineleathergoods- and bagmaker from Salzburg, Austria. I grew up on the country side and there have strong roots in a sustainable lifestyle and a strong connection to nature and working with your hands. But i also travelled far from a young age, and therefor love different languages and international exchanges. In my workshop where i currently employ Austrias only bagmaking apprenticee we create bespoke leathergoods with the traditional saddlestitch but also repair and restore high-end products. Through teaching private students in my workshop and online I developed my interest in teaching. I am very much looking forward to teaching Domestikas students :)
