Cecilia Sassone

I am passionate for learning and teaching and have devoted my whole life to finding ways of making learning easy, fast and fun for all learners, and have focused in particular in the adult learner working in companies who needs to communicate in English fast, to do their job in the second or foreign language. I have spent 22 years of my life doing research on these populations and have developed the "Spiderweb Method" that simplifies and speeds up adult language learning. It has earned me the "Innovation and Achievement Award 2015" from the renowned academic community in Argentina as well as recognition from my colleagues. As regards my studies, I am a teacher of English graduated from Instituto en Lenguas Vivas "Juan Ramón Fernandez" (a 4-year course of studies and BA equivalent), I have a Licenciatura in English from Universidad de Belgrano and three diplomas in e-learning, Moodle and open source tools (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional / Net-Learning). I have been a teacher trainer for over 30 years and have worked at the Teachers' Training College for 25, delivering the subject "Games, Music, Crafts and Educational Technology". I have designed, coordinated and delivered English courses for adults in national and multinational companies for over 30 years, getting into the core of their work and helping them out from there. I love what I do and I am thankful for all the opportunites I get. Now I am working on my Spiderweb's digital version... and I'm loving it.
