Bindu Uppal

Hola! I am Bindu an Architect and an Interior Designer.
Ever since I was a little kid, I always saw my father working on plans, urging to create something new. I still
remember sitting in front of him & trying to imagine and learn as he was busy producing great projects he
was doing. As I started learning more, felt it was almost magic to create those remarkable structures and
living, limited only by my own imagination and ingenuity. Throughout, I latched onto any ideas and
learning I could get, designing from a corner of the room all the way to revitalization of a slum, with
dozens of projects in between. I learned various softwares tearing through notes, practices and classes to
deliver the project as I imagined. I was insatiable.
The passion carried me through my education at Sushant School of Art & Architecture, India as my
graduation in Architecture. Here there were more resources available & learnt things that I could never
imagine as a kid. I studied new structures, bewildering work done by pre-eminent architects, diverse
approaches, latest techniques & methods, sustainable studies and various other study & cultures, all with
pretty much the same fascination that drove me as a kid. It was here that I learned truly how much there
was yet to learn. Thereafter, I developed a keen interest in studying interiors and pursued my Master’s in
Interior Designing, at Florence Design Academy, Italy, to know a building and to be able to design a
building inside out.
So, now, in industry, this passion remains with me. There’s certainly lot more to learn, yet more to build,
