I’ve been a writer and a reader for as long as I can remember. I write YA novellas and ss’s I belong to a weekly well established Writing Group and an online group. Currently I’m reading The Long Walk by Slavomir Rawicz a truly inspiring book about a young Polish cavalry officer who was arrested by the Russians and sentenced to 25 years hard labour in the Gulag. After a brutal interrogation he realises that unless he escapes it means certain death. With 5 other prisoners he escaped and crosses the harshest region in the world on foot. One of the greatest true stories of adventure, survival and escape. A must read.
