Gustavo Garcia

Founder and Creative Director at Papanapa, an independent branding studio based in São Paulo, Brazil.

With a degree in graphic design from Senac University (São Paulo) and a Master’s degree from the School of Visual Arts (New York), Gustavo took part in lectures such as DiaTipo and PechaKucha (São Paulo) and has also exhibited his work in the United States, Spain, and Brazil. Gustavo taught the graphic design course at Miami Ad School for 8 years, where he was also responsible for coordinating the program between 2016 and 2018.

With over a decade of experience, Papanapa worked with well-known brands, small businesses, and startups at different stages of their journeys. From launching new products to conquering new territories, obtaining investments, or discovering the best way to reinvent themselves for the world, the studio uses the power of narrative and design to build consistent, authentic, and long-lasting brands.
