Hello, my name is Sophia, and I’m excited to participate in this course!
I have a deep passion for the circular economy and social impact projects, particularly focusing on empowering vulnerable women through the creative reuse of textile waste. I run a social enterprise called Συνεργώ Κοινωνικά Κοιν.Σ.Επ.. Our mission is to create employment opportunities for women from vulnerable groups while promoting sustainability.
I'm currently, working on a project called Rags & Hearts, where I emphasize the value of human life at any stage and the importance of reusing textiles creatively. I’m really passionate about creating sustainable products and I’m looking for advice and guidance on how to incorporate sustainability into my work.
I would love to learn more about techniques, materials, or processes that can help me produce eco-friendly items, especially in the context of reusing textiles and reducing waste.
