Colores 33

Colores 33 is an organization that aims to promote Yucatecan talent by publishing a catalog that showcases the work of 33 artists based in the city of Mérida.
The association's original design was inspired by the Aztec deity "Tonatiuh," represented in the monolith known as the Sun Stone. The challenge was to maintain the essence of pre-Hispanic art while reducing complexity through geometric lines, resulting in a symbol capable of being reproduced in different techniques while maintaining legibility at small sizes.
