Two sketchbooks

As a final project, I dug back into two sketchbooks that I used over the course of two years, in order to revisit my process of getting into drawing.

I enjoyed trying out a variety of materials during the course, and thereafter, in my sketchbooks. One element of this course I really enjoyed was letting go of the fear of drawing by resisting the temptation to 'erase' or 'correct' - hence my use of felt-pens, ink, fineliners etc., all of which have a somewhat definitive quality. Here are some drawings using felt-pens.

A picture of my own hand (from photo) and some live sketching. The beach is indeed a wonderful place to try it out!

This is perhaps the medium I used least, although I did enjoy it. I would like to try out some more in the future!
