Nigel Crooks

I'm 73 years old, retired since 2018. I've been married to my wife Margaret for 43 years this year (2026). Since retiring, my main interest has been photography and photo editing but after several attempts at art in the past decided in January 2024 to give it another go. It has been my passion in the past to do pen and ink work. I've tried several courses from Skillshare recently and feel that I'm now rooted to sketching. I'd like to do Urban Sketching but so far haven't had the nerve to go out with my sketchbook and pen. I have a fair variety of equipment and want to make the most of it all. I am also a member of a Walking For Health Group in my local area. We go walking each week, usually somewhere within a 15 mile radius and for just two or three miles, car sharing to the further localities. We enjoy conversation en route and I take photos of the people and scenery to post on Flickr and share with the Group and the world.
