I'm a textile artist looking to incorporate more skills in things like illustration and lettering. I focus on story quilts and on helping other find and tell their own stories with confidence using a variety of tools and media. I am not a confident sketcher or drawer but have more confidence expressing myself with fabric and thread. One of my current goals is to develop my ability to express myself through use of simple shapes, lettering, and interpretive images and to incorporate those elements more in my stitched art.
