Mark Brooks

I’m a graphic designer and art director based in New York City. I specialize in branding, graphic design, and art direction developing projects that call for identity design/branding, editorial design, typography, and illustration. I was born in Barcelona to a Catalan mother and an American father and moved to New York City in 2007 where I grew up as a professional and where I currently work as a freelance designer, as Brand Director for Behance and as Creative Director for 99U.

In 2015 I replaced cofounder Matias Corea at Behance where among other things we’ve worked really hard to make sure that it offers the best options for creatives across the board to showcase their portfolios so that they can get as much exposure in the most compelling and effective way. With more than 17 million members, our curators browse daily through countless portfolios from around the globe and select the best ones based on a criteria that has settled a standard in portfolio creation.
