I was looking for a point of difference for Art projects that I am pursuing this year - I am a portrait photographer, I'm picking up a course in flax weaving - thinking outside the box, I researched the possibility of making paper from flax - which led to making paper research - which in turn pointed to Book binding - Ideas upon Ideas - I'm blown away by the idea of unifying my ideas, with cultural techniques , traditional skills - international experience and manual work to present my work in a manner that is unique and original.
